Pupils from a St Albans school have been inspired after leading musicians performed a concert at their school to a sell-out audience.

Beechwood Park School welcomed O Duo, a percussion duo featuring leading musicians Owen Gunnell and Oliver Cox, into their school on Friday, January 31.

The musicians played a varied programme ranging from Bach to Glass and Chopin to Stomp to a sell-out audience and children and adults alike responded with rapturous applause.

Year 6 pupils were also thrilled to join Oliver and Owen during a percussion workshop before the concert.

The school’s headteacher Patrick Atkinson, said: "To see such young and hugely talented musicians perform at Beechwood Park has been inspirational for our pupils."
