Empower and educate with International Women’s Day event
The International Women’s Day ‘Join me on the Bridge’ event will take place in St Albans next month.
Women are invited to wear blue and join others at Verulamium Park, on the bridge over the boating lake, from 1.45pm on Sunday, March 9. A walk around the lake will take place from 2pm, followed by celebrations.
The event aimed at educating and empowering women and girls has been organised by the city’s Soroptimist Women's Group.
