There is a weather warning of snow in place for Friday across the St Albans district, warning the public to be aware of the potential for some disruption to travel especially during Friday morning rush hour.
The Met Office’s chief forecaster said: "An area of low pressure is expected to move eastwards on Friday. There is considerable uncertainty in its track and therefore on the risk and location of any snow."
The yellow warning is in place between 12.05am and 12pm.
