Students in St Albans and Harpenden will be able to develop and exhibit their art skills thanks to a county council grant.

The St Albans and Harpenden Christian and Education Project (Step) has received £200 to go towards picture frames for winning artwork, prizes and exhibition costs.

Step is a group of volunteer Christian school workers, who aim to make a difference in the lives of young people through work in schools.

They are currently running an art competition encouraging students to produce a piece of artwork around a biblical theme.

This cash comes from Hertfordshire County Council’s locality budget.
