A man has been jailed for four years after stealing £1,300 worth of fuel from petrol stations in Hertfordshire including St Albans.
Stephen Wilkinson, 29 of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to a series of making off without payment in various petrol garages last year, during a hearing at Cambridge Crown Court on March 13.
He was also convicted for assaulting a member of staff at Sainsbury’s petrol station in Stevenage on July 28, dangerous driving and no insurance and having no driving licence.
