Hertfordshire residents are being urged to test their smoke alarms as part of the county council’s Fire and Rescue Service’s Tick, Tock, Test campaign.
The drive is designed to encourage residents check their alarms when they change their clocks today (Sunday).
According to the county’s fire service, residents are four times more likely to survive a fire if they have a working smoke alarm.
