Game enthusiasts played their favourite board games for more than 13 hours on Saturday to mark International TableTop Day.
The St Albans Board Game Club joined players all around the world in over 63 countries to play more than 40 favourites including Settlers of Catan, Carcassonne, Ticket to Ride and King of Tokyo to support International TableTop Day on Saturday, April 5.
The event took place place at the Scout Hut, Oak Yard, Chene Drive, Waverley Road.
Christophe Montoya from the club said: "The event was fantastic. It started at 11am and it finished just after midnight.
"We had around 60 people through the doors including families and people of all ages from six, being the youngest, and we had someone in their 70s join in, who had a fantastic time.
"It was absolutely brilliant and the event did exactly what we wanted it to do and that was to reach out to families, get them off their screens and find out about games."
The St Albans Board Game Club will now run sessions at the Waverley Road scout hut every Wednesday evening.
