A dog walking event will take place in Heartwood Forest this Saturday.
The Woodland Trust has organised the free event, for people to learn about a new dog owners’ code of conduct, will run between 10am and 3pm.
Marse Petcare will be providing 100 free goodie bags on the day, and the Dogs Trust will also be offering free micro chipping.
Louise Neicho, trust site manager, said: "Heartwood Forest is a beautiful place to explore, and has become increasingly popular with local dog owners. This event is a chance to learn about our new code of conduct which we hope will ensure dogs; their owners and other woodland visitors can all enjoy Heartwood safely.
"We’re extremely grateful to the Dogs Trust for joining us, and we will be very excited to meet everyone’s four-legged friends."
