Young people will take to the streets of St Albans next month to perform random acts of kindness to unsuspecting members of the public.

Members from the 267 project, a charity which aims to offer creative opportunities for young people based in Batchwood School, will carry car wash, sell cakes and carry out massages outside the Clock Tower on Saturday, June 28 from 10am to 4pm.

Last year the team took to the streets of Harpenden, which earned them the Mayor’s Pride Award for ‘Community Event of the Year’.

The event has been organised by the Fuel team at 267, a group of 12 to 20-year-olds, who are looking to take up leadership roles in the future.
