A Harpenden man is set to run in a 10k Father's Day Fun Run to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.
On Sunday 15 June, Daniel Reynolds of Cranbourne Drive, will run the Regents Park course in memory of his father, who he lost at the age of 13.
The 23-year-old said: "I'm running for Macmillan Cancer Support because I know what it is like to lose someone and go through a huge change.
"Although I've not been directly affected by cancer, I lost my father when I was 13 and want to spend the day by showing my support for the individuals, and their friends and families who currently need help dealing with it. It's easy to get involved and I encourage others to do so."
So far Mr Reynolds has raised £90. To sponsor him visit www.justgiving.com/dreynolds text DREY91 to 70070 and state the amount you would like to donate.
