A junior school in St Albans has been awarded a Green Flag for its work on energy, the school grounds, and transport.
SS Alban and Stephen Junior on Cecil Road won the Eco-Schools Green Flag award last week after inspectors visited the school, and said they were impressed with the school’s sustainable travel projects.
Ms Henry, eco-schools coordinator at the school, said: "The whole school are delighted with the award.
"I want to thank all pupils, staff, parents and governors who have supported us over the many years we have worked to achieve this Green Flag."
