Driver fails to stop after incident in Kimpton
A 19-year-old man from Codicote who was arrested on suspicion of failing to stop for police, has been released on bail until July 6.
I’m an 18-year-old sixth form student with an appetite for critiquing the happenings of every day life. My main interests include; music (listening and writing), football and video games (so basically everything you’d expect from a young male my age.) Academically I’m a student of History, Media Studies and English Language wishing to go on to study History at university. Writing is something I’ve recently sought enjoyment out of and has been integrated more naturally into academic writing as well as writing for entertainment. Somehow through all of this I manage to maintain some form of a social life and I enjoy going out or staying in with friends on a fairly regular basis. As for the future, my attitude is to keep my options open and “take life as it comes.”

Why the Daily Mail should be careful when digging up the past.
With the first week of the Olympics completed, the games has already been a huge success for team GB, London as a host city, and of course, armchair pundits.
Democratising people power? Or misleading and manipulative propaganda? Either way, if Joseph Kony is captured then all the sharing will have been worth it.
The reaction to the riots in London and other UK cities has prompted widespread dismay, and just because the voices of a few anarchists are loudest does not mean they will prevail...nor be listened to, whatever it is they're trying to say.
Lots of things have happened since I last posted, here are some of my thoughts on how they have bee covered (especially in the press).
Andy Gray and Richard Keys have rekindled an awkward subject for people like me everywhere. Thanks.
The Lib-Dem election campaign video is laughable now. Also the nature of student protest means two opposites are being awkwardly juxtaposed together, like Shaun Ryder and Gillian McKeith.
Love it or hate it, the Jeremy Kyle show has come up trumps this week for one particular guest and one particular envelope...
Advertisements have come under strain in recent years. BT have attempted to cope through appealing to audience's emotions and asking them even to vote what happens next...
