Wrapping presents as well as supplying them has brought in almost £4,000 for St Luke's Hospice.

Children played games and visitors enjoyed live entertainment, as well as picking up gifts, when more than 550 people visited Claremont High School for the hospice's Christmas fete on Sunday.

More than £3,000 was raised for the Kenton Lane hospice which provides end of life care for the people of Brent and Harrow.

St Luke’s volunteers were also in action at the St Ann’s and St George’s Shopping Centres in Harrow town centre at the weekend, where they raised £800 by wrapping presents for shoppers.

This service will be on offer at the shopping centre from December 15 to 24.
