Barry from Watford must feel a bit lonely, being one of the only comedians to hail from Watford. With the rebirth of Jongleurs, however, that could all be about to change.
After a four-year absence, it is uniting with Highlight Comedy Club to provide a platform for both up-and-coming comedians and established acts.
The format of the comedy nights will stay the same, so you’re still guaranteed to have the funniest night out you’ve had in ages.
Operations manager, Chris Lambert, says: “Jongleurs is one of the most recognised comedy names in the world, so we’re really excited to be re-launching. We’re looking forward to some phenomenal evenings of live stand-up comedy.“ Running every Saturday night from May 2 there’s plenty on offer.
Andrew O’Neil, who has appeared on BBC Two’s Never Mind the Buzzocks, headlines one evening in May, as do Otiz Cannelloni, Tiffany Stevenson and Romesh Ranganathan.
Barry from Watford will be glad of the company.
