3) The Rubenstein Kiss St Albans & Harpenden Review:
A retelling  of the story of Ethel and Julius Rosenberg who were the only civilians ever to be executed for treason in America and protested their innocence to the bitter end: In 1950's New York Jakob and Esther Rubenstein are a loving, committed Jewish couple whose love for the Communist Party means more than life itself.  When Esther's brother David,  also a Party member, is  posted to Los Alamos, where Oppenheimer is working on the Manhattan project which will lead to the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, it sets off a train of  events so shocking that it divides opinion to this day. In New York, years later Anna Levi and Matthew Maddison meet in front of an iconic art gallery photograph of the Rubenstein's final kiss before they part.. Young, radical and falling in love, together they seek justice for the past and the Rubenstein story unfolds.
