Beloved children’s book Charlotte’s Web is set to be brought to life in musical form this weekend.

The cast at Stevenage’s Gordon Craig Theatre have been working hard to put the finishing touches to the show, which is produced in participation with Willows Activity Farm in St Albans.

Catherine Lomax, director, says: “I cannot wait for the young audiences to fall in love with Wilbur and all the characters.”

Charlotte’s Web, written by American author E.B. White tells the tale of Wilbur the pig who befriends a spider called Charlotte. When Wilbur is in danger of being slaughtered by the farmer, Charlotte helps save him.
