A nine-year-old who narrowly missed out on a place in the finals of St Albans' Got Talent is now facing a battle to land a place as the ‘wild card’.
To reach the final round at the Alban Arena Oliver Joseph, of Radlett Preparatory School, must get as many views as possible on his initial audition video in which he sings Where Is Love from Oliver the musical.
Oliver thinks he has a chance of winning the competition, “if I try my hardest”. Considering that last year he got through to the second round of ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent, for which he wants to audition again this year, perhaps he really could win.
His mother, Daniella Joseph, says: “He’s such an outgoing cheeky chappy and he is talented. I have received nice messages from the local butcher as well as all the way from Australia.”
