The Hurst Children’s Theatre Group is back with its traditional panto.
As usual, it will have its own spin on an old yarn, this time it's Snow White, not least Princess Ana from Frozen who keeps turning up in the wrong story!
Snow White will have to face the evil Queen with the help of her little friends and even smaller elves. The Well Fairy will watch over proceedings which include flashes of magic, a talking mirror, a whole chorus line of jesters, Dame Angela Merkel, Mayor Boris and of course the evil Black Bert with his trusty bird, Russell Crow.
The main parts are played by Harpenden’s finest school-age talent and the boisterous cast of 100 younger children will knock your socks off with their unrivalled singing. Old vaudeville songs, modern songs, some rock n roll and of course an audience singalong will have you toe-tapping all the way home.
Harpenden Public Halls, Southdown Road, Harpenden, January 22 to 25. Details: 07568 363104, hctg@live.co.uk, hurstchildrenstheatregroup.co.uk
