MP Since - 2005 Majority - 1,361 Born - 17/05/1957, Widowed (1 son, 2 daughters). Remarried (1 son).

Education - Bishop of Llandaff Secondary School, Cardiff. Swansea University (BA English 1978). Sheffield University (PGCE 1979).

Previous Occupation - Teaching and family (1979-80). Home-maker (1980-90). Carer for terminally ill husband (1990-91). Single parent and supply teacher (1991-95).

Personal Overview - She is an active conservative member. She has spent much of her time on public service, council duties and political fund raising, especially for the Southern Region Conservative Women's' club. She supports charities like the Red Cross. Politically she is fighting against the high housing quotas in Hertfordshire, citing issues of resulting overcrowding.
