The new Westminster Lodge Leisure Centre will open its doors to the public for the first time tomorrow (Saturday).
Olympic bronze medallist Max Whitlock, who was part of Team GB at London 2012, will be one of a team of sporting heroes at the launch.
A variety of free activities will be on offer during the day including Zumba classes, karate demonstrations and cheerleading displays.
Visitors will also have the chance to try out some new sports in a number of taster sessions.
Craft activities will also be running for some of the younger visitors.
The multi-million pound centre includes two swimming pools, a gym, spa, climbing wall and four sports courts.
There is also a crèche, children’s soft play area and café.
The launch event well run between 10am and 5pm.
