Police searching for a missing teenager Amelia Arnold have discovered a body in woodland in Hatfield.
Although the body has not yet been formally identified, detectives believe that it is the body of the 19-year-old.
The body was found yesterday (Sunday).
Amelia went missing from her home in Stevenage on Wednesday.
Detective Chief Inspector Tim Redfearn, from the joint Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit, is leading the investigation.
He said: "Amelia’s family have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers at this difficult time.
"They have requested that their privacy be respected whilst they come to terms with what’s happened over the past few days."
A 22-year-old man from Stevenage is currently in police custody.
