Cyclist taken to hospital after accident in Longacres

A man in his 40s has been taken to hospital after being knocked off his bike in St Albans this afternoon.
The man had been riding along Longacres just before 12.30pm when he was in collision with a black Peugeot 107.
He was taken to the QEII Hospital in Welwyn Garden City with minor injuries.
Ambulance crews and police were called to the scene and remained there until about 1.15pm.
