A flood warning has been issued for the Upper River Colne by the Environment Agency over the weekend.
The agency said possible flooding could threaten areas including as Colney Heath and London Colney, after a weekend of heavy downpours in the area.
Other areas such as Radlett Brook were also covered by the flood warning.
In its latest update on the Upper River Colne last night the Environment said the river had peaked in Sunday morning and fallen back, but could rise again if there is further rain.
