A man has been arrested following a drugs raid in St Albans in which a large amount of cash and suspected cannabis was found.

The 30-year-old man was arrested on Friday following the raid at a property in Dellfield.

Officers from Hertfordshire Constabulary entered the house at 3.40pm after a member of the public contacted them about a funny smell coming from inside.

Suspected cannabis and cultivation equipment was seized during the raid.

The man has been arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis and has been released on bail while investigations continue.
