Snow fall in St Albans

Residents awoke to find St Albans covered in a light layer of snow this morning.
The snowfall had been predicted over the weekend, but it has not been heavy enough to cause serious disruption in the area this morning.
The Met Office has warned that there may be more snow during the day and some rain.
The cold snap is predicted to last into this week with the possibility of more snow tonight.
