St Albans Railway Exhibition proves a hit
Residents turned out to admire the annual St Albans Railway Exhibition held in The Alban Arena at the weekend.
Over twenty working railway models displayed pictures of trains from the present and past running through countryside and built up areas, hauling goods and passengers at the exhibition on Saturday, January 13 and Sunday, January 14.
Each layout aimed to capture a location at a moment in time and each presented a different three dimensional photograph.
David Crossley, exhibition manager from Chiltern Model Railway Association, said: "It went really well and a lot of people turned up.
"We had a big layout on stage, which picked up the best scenic prize. This got the most attention."
