Brothers and sisters have raised more than £1,000 for a teenage cancer charity after taking to the streets of Harpenden with their trumpets.
Siblings, Sacha, 15, Angus, 14, and Lucy Wight, 12 played a selection of Christmas carols in the streets of Harpenden to raise £1,307 for the teenager cancer trust.
The trio from the school in decided on their chosen charity after their cousin Harriet, who lives in Australia, was diagnosed with cancer earlier last year and has been undergoing treatment.
The Wights said: "Thanks to everyone's great generosity we have so far raised an incredible £1,307 through donations - both on the streets and through our Just Giving page.
Harriet is doing brilliantly, but Australia does not have as advanced a support network as the UK.
"She has often found herself being treated alongside adults with terminal cancer, which has been very traumatic for her and has made us realise just how important the work of the Teenage Cancer Trust is."
