Luke Michael Hayward, 21, of Roman Way, Markyate. On November 21, 2012, drove in Roman Way, Markyate, after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion in breath was 60 microgrammes in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes. Fine, costs: £360. Banned from driving for 17 months, to be reduced by 17 weeks if approved course undertaken.

Louis Alexander Kerley, 23, of Park Street, St Albans. On November 23, 2012, was in possession of 2.7g of cannabis, a class B drug, with intent to supply; also, between October 22, 2012, and November 23, 2012, supplied an unknown quantity of cannabis, a class B drug. Community order made with attendance requirement. Costs: £145.

Josa Manuel Alves, 51, of Napsbury Avenue, London Colney. On October 3, 2012, damaged a window belonging to another. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. Compensation, costs: £250.

Jude Sinfield, 18, of Wheat Close, Sandridge. On May 12, 2012, assaulted a person by beating him; also, on same date, assaulted a person by beating her. Discharged conditionally for 18 months. Compensation, costs: £200.
