St Albans District Council staff evacuated as offices fill with smoke

Staff at St Albans District Council have been evacuated from their offices after the building filled with smoke.
Firefighters from St Albans, Hatfield and Garston were called to the Civic Centre in St Peters Street at about 11.10am.
The fire service is currently trying to work out where the smoke, which filled three floors, came from.
Crews remain at the scene and the building is closed.
