Redbourn woman completes seven day charity bike ride (From St Albans & Harpenden Review)

A salon owner in Redbourn has completed a seven day bike ride to raise money for a teenage cancer charity.

Lorraine Fletcher, from Atelier Hairdressing and Beauty Rooms in Redbourn High Street, cycled for 7 days across Vietnam to Cambodia, to support Teens Unite Fighting Cancer.

Ms Fletcher cycled a total of 300 miles, as part of a 12 person group and has raised over £30,000 for the St Albans based charity.

She said: "Teens Unite is close to my heart and our salon has donated each year we’ve been open. When I was asked to take the challenge, I accepted it immediately".
