A bar in Harpenden is holding a Disney themed day to raise cash for a local children’s charity.
Staff at The Slug and Lettuce, in High Street, will be dressing up as their favourite character on Saturday, February 2 in aid of Hertfordshire Children’s Fund.
Face painting, sing-alongs and party games will be available for children throughout the day.
Emma Jacobs, one of the bar’s managers, said: "We will be encouraging customers to drop any loose change into collection buckets as well asking them to make donations.
"The Hertfordshire Children’s Fund helps children aged up to 18 years, assisting their families to buy essential, everyday items or specific equipment.
"This is the first time that we’ve supported this local charity so we are really focussed on raising a significant amount to help children within our county."
Staff are hoping to raise more than £300 at the charity event.
