9:30am Monday 28th January 2013 in News
By Zoe Forsey, Senior Reporter
Firefighters rescued a man in St Albans yesterday after his car became stuck in a ditch.
The man had been driving along Sandridgebury Lane yesterday when floods caused his car to come off the road.
He was stuck in about 3ft of water which had started to leak into his car.
A fire crew from St Albans were called to the scene just before 3.30pm.
They used cords to pull the car out of the ditch and the man was left uninjured.
Firefighters remained at the scene until 3.50pm.
