Donate old books for World Book Night
Community groups are being asked to sell books at Verulamium Museum to mark World Book Night.
Staff at the museum are inviting charities and organisations to bring along donated books to sell off to raise cash.
The community book fair will be held between 6pm and 10pm on Tuesday, April 23.
Councillor Mike Wakely, portfolio holder for sports, leisure and heritage at the council, said: "This is a wonderful opportunity for community groups around the district to raise much-needed funds.
"To ensure your group is represented at the event, remember to book early."
Stalls at the fair, which are free of charge, are available by calling the museum on 01727 751810.
