Brave children from a nursery in St Albans kick started their year long of anniversary celebrations to mark ten years with a visit from a exotic animals.
Ladybirds Nursery in Hill End Lane marked their 10 year anniversary yesterday (Thursday) by inviting a selection of exotic animals in to their nursery.
A few days before the children specially picked what animals they would like to meet and among those provided by Animal Edutainment, were a tarantula, tortoise, lizard and a white rabbit- which proved to be the children’s favourite.
Bernadette Lee, co-owner of the nursery said: “The children really enjoyed it and were really happy to touch and stroke the animals.
“They were brave and seemed really intrigued by the animals.
“This is the start of a year long celebration and we wanted to kick start the celebrations with something different for the children to enjoy.”
