This is the moment that Darth Vader and his Stormtroopers took control of Redbourn.
Confused residents looked on as the Star Wars soldiers marched around the village on Saturday, February 2.
The stormtroopers, who are from Star Wars costuming club the 501st UK Garrison, visited Redbourn in support of the East Common Project, which is currently raising cash to build a new play area.
More than 150 residents gathered in the Parish Centre in St Michaels Street to see the group, who were accompanied by Princess Leia and Boba Fett.
Nadia Davies, who is heading up the project, said: "It was a really lovely day. Everybody was really excited.
"It’s not something that happens very often. It was amazing."
Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope was shown on a big screen during the fundraiser and visitors had the chance to win prizes including £100 worth of Lego.
Ms Davies added: "It wasn’t just for kids - the adults were getting very competitive.
"We’ve had lots of really positive feedback."
The event collected more than £1,100 for the project, bringing the total up to £30,000 of their £75,000 target.
