A school in Harpenden is hoping to raise thousands of pounds for charity without even getting out of their pyjamas.

Staff and pupils from Scott House in Roundwood Park School had a comfy day at school on Monday as they donned their best pyjamas and onesies to raise money for charity.

They hope to raise £3,000 for Keech Hospice and the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign through fundraising events.

Sue Wilkins, head of Scott House at the school said: "The children really enjoyed the day and what better way than coming in to school with your ugg boots and onesies on, while it’s snowing outside."

So far the pupils have raised £1,500 from fundraising events including a sky dive, donut and donate, charity disco and leg waxing event.
