Fathers and sons from a boy’s school in Harpenden have painted pottery as gifts for Mother's Day.
On Saturday, February 9, Aldwickbury School held a Mother's Day event where fathers and sons were encouraged to paint a piece of pottery as gifts for their mothers and wives.
More than 60 boys took part in the event, which was organised by the school’s Friends of Association and Made by Me, a mobile pottery painting studio in Harpenden, who were on hand to help the boy’s create their personal gifts.
One father said: "It was a lovely thing to do together for Mother's Day and I’m looking forward to the boys painting beer tankards for Father's Day."
