Produce your own soap opera with St Albans museums

By Rebecca Perring, Reporter
Residents will be invited to produce a soap opera as part of a project organised by St Albans Musuems.
Adults and children over the age of 13 are invited to join a free six-week project to produce a soap opera about the fight for the English Throne, Blood, Lust and Roses.
Over six weeks, participants will write, perform and film the soap opera based on the Wars of the Roses.
These wars took place between the families of York and Lancaster in a 30-year long fight for the English throne.
The first battle took place in St Albans in 1455 and was followed by a second battle in the city in 1461.
The first session will take place on Sunday, March 3 at the Museum of St Albans, between 2pm and 3.30pm.
To book a place on the project, phone 01727 751 810 or email adam.ditchburn@stalbans.gov.uk
