St Albans District Council for Voluntary Services receives cash grant for new equipment

Volunteering services in St Albans are to benefit from a £3,250 grant to improve their services.

St Albans District Council for Voluntary Services (CVS) which supports the recruitment of volunteers and charity funding for the local area has received the county council grant to purchase equipment.

They will now benefit from a microphone, laptop, flipchart and video camera to enhance their work, such as pop-up banners advertising events and helping them to attract new volunteers.

The cash comes from the council’s locality budget scheme.
