St Paul’s Church to hold service for bereaved residents

A church in St Albans is holding a bereavement service this month to help people dealing with a loss.

St Paul’s Church in Blandford Road is hosting the hour long service with the support of the Hatfield Road Methodist Church on Sunday, February 24.

Peter Crumpler, a reader at the church, said: "The churches hold this service each year as an opportunity for people to reflect and give thanks for the life of the loved one, and to pray for all those affected by the loss.

"We know that the grieving process can take many years and affects each person differently."
