Mohammed Faisal Ashraf, 23, of Camp Road, St Albans. On February 11, 2013, was in possession of 0.5g of cannabis, a class B drug. Fine, costs: £305.

Toufiq Danba, 21, of Alexander Road, London Colney. On February 9, 2013, wilfully obstructed a police officer in the execution of his duty; also, on same date, used a motor vehicle without insurance or a valid licence; also, on same date, used on Hatfield Avenue a motor vehicle where the front nearside wheel had a tyre on which the grooves did not have the required depth. Fine, costs: £399. Banned for six months.

Poopalasingham Sunderakanthan, 51, of Campfield Road, St Albans. On January 30, 2013, assaulted a person by beating her. Discharged conditionally for two years. Restraining order made. Costs: £100.

Simon Matthew Fisher, 24, of Tassell Hall, Redbourn. On December 30, 2012, stole a cash card and then withdrew money belonging to another. Fine, compensation, costs: £638.
