Oxfam in Chequer Street to mark International Women's Day with cake sale

Coffee and cakes will be on offer this Friday as Oxfam mark International Women’s Day.

Staff at the Chequer Street charity shop will run the fundraiser between 9am and 1pm.

Manager Claire McCreesh said: "Oxfam has always supported women’s rights.

"International Women’s Day is something that we really want to support.

"We want to raise awareness to let people know that this is out there."
