Get into the swing for charity golf day at Aldwickbury Park Golf Club

Golfers will be able to show off their best shots at a charity competition.

Harpenden Lions Club is looking for teams of four to take part in its annual Charity Golf Day on Friday, May 17.

The fundraiser, which will be held at Aldwickbury Park Golf Club, will raise cash for Combat Stress, a charity that specialises in the treatment and support of war veterans who have mental health problems.

Team tickets cost £260 which includes lunch and a three course dinner.

Prizes will be on offer for the longest drive and nearest pin throughout the day.

Companies looking to support the charity can also sponsor a hole for £50.
