Teenagers from across St Albans came together to pitch their business ideas as part of a business competition.

Townsend School invited pupils from seven groups taking part in the Hertfordshire Young Enterprise scheme.

Each group gave a presentation on how their business is getting on a year into the project.

Philip Parker, head of the school’s sixth form, said: "We were delighted to host this event at Townsend and to make use of our new facilities for the sixth form."
