A church in St Albans is hoping to get mums and their sons talking about awkward topics in a series of new food based activities.
St Paul’s Church in Blandford Road hopes the morning, which will be held on Saturday, March 16, will help mums bring up sensitive issues with their children.
Building Lego jelly towers and writing messages on toast will be some of the activities on offer for children aged five to 11.
Anna Hawken, children's minister at St Paul's said: "The morning is a great opportunity for mums and sons to spend some quality time learning to understand each other better and to have loads of fun in the process.
"We hope people of all faiths and none will come and make the most of this opportunity."
The free event will fun from 10.30am until 12pm and is also open to aunties, godmothers and grandparents.
