St Albans Film Festival winners announced

The winners of the city’s first film festival have been announced following a successful and buzzing weekend in St Albans.
Two thousand visitors flocked to the district on Saturday and Sunday to enjoy the film festival, which showcased a total of 78 films.
The winners of all categories follow:
- Main short film: Time 2 Split directed by Fabrice Bracq Special mention: Gracious awakening, directed by Ben Jacobs, a St Albans film maker who created his film for £10.
- Music Video: Reggiimental ft Matt Henshaw Stand by the window, directed by Adam Awri Special mention: Feldspar, The Flat and Paper Sky directed by Craig Heathcote
- Films for Kids category: Baggage, directed by Peter Butler Special mention: Sketch The Walker Twins
- Over 18: Prodigal Son Directed by CJ Scuffings Special mention: Phone Sex Grandma, directed by Jack Truman
- Documentary: The Guest directed by Kira De Hemmer Jeppeson Special mention: Skin, directed by Janina Vilsmaier
- Student film: The Rocket Boys,directed by James Button Special mention: Dawid and Dominik, directed by Andrew Salamonczyk
- Best actor: Kerensa York (Lines in the sand) directed by Michael Gilroy Special mention: Darren Kent (Sunny Boy), directed by Jane Gull.
