A £10,000 reward has been offered to identify a man wanted in connection with a series of robberies across the country, including one in Harpenden.
Police want to speak to the man after cash was stolen from Ladbrokes in Harding Place on Saturday, February 23.
At about 8.45pm the offender entered the shop, handed the cashier a white carrier bag and demanded money.
Police have released CCTV images of a man wanted in connection with eight robberies, some of which have been armed, in February and March.
The other offences took place in Northamptonshire, West Sussex and Leicestershire.
The Association of British Bookmakers is offering the large sum to anyone who has information that leads to the conviction of the offender.
Detective Inspector Mark Pattison, from Northamptonshire Police, said: "This reward has been offered to help encourage anyone who may have any information about this man to come forward.
"Thankfully, no-one was hurt in any of these incidents, however they have been extremely traumatic for the cashiers and the businesses have lost money.
"We are working closely with the other forces where we believe the offences have been committed by the same man and are confident that someone has information that can help."
Anyone with information is asked to contact the police on the non-emergency number 101.
