Colin Gray, 39, of Hughenden Road, St Albans. On March 3, 2013, destroyed the driver’s window of  car belonging to another. Offence committed during operational period of suspended sentence order made on July 23, 2012, for the offence of phoning and leaving text and voicemail messages contrary to non-molestation order. Committed to prison for 16 weeks. Restraining order made.

James Christopher Dunne, 34, of London Road, St Albans. On February 21, 2013, drove in London Road, St Albans, after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion in breath was 67 microgrammes in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes. Fine, costs: £415. Banned from driving for 18 months, to be reduced by 18 weeks if approved course undertaken.

Simon John Phillips, 46, of Fullerton Close, Markyate. On September 28, 2012, assaulted a person by beating him. Community order made with unpaid work (240 hours) requirement. Compensation, costs: £920.

Richard Charles Hudson, 34, of Batchwood Drive, St Albans. On August 19, 2012, drove in Harpenden Road, without due care and attention. Fine, costs: £1,035. Five penalty points.
