Hundreds attend Your Future Fair

Hundreds of young people had the chance to learn more about potential career paths at a fair in St Albans.

Oaklands College held the Your Future Fair in Alban Arena on Tuesday, March 12.

About 500 people looked around 65 exhibitions including stalls by Premier Inn, British Telecom and Halifax.

Visitors had the chance to learn more about CV writing, interview techniques and apprenticeships.

Principle Zoe Hancock said: "At Oaklands we strive to serve our community, whether through the offering of a diverse range of courses or by working closely with local businesses, charities and councils.

"Today’s event was a great example of how the college can provide for its community."
