Harpenden Lions raffles giant Easter egg to raise funds for charity
Easter eggs weighing more than 1kg will be up for grabs in a charity raffle in Harpenden.
The Harpenden Lions are giving away 30 large chocolate eggs in pubs across the town in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
Pubs in Redbourn, Wheathampstead, Flamstead, Kimpton and Markyate are also taking part in this year’s fundraiser.
The raffle, which has been running for almost 30 years, has raised thousands of pounds for different local charities.
The Engineer in St Johns Road, The Plough and Harrow in Southdown Road and The Inn on the Green in Leyton Road are just some of the pubs taking part in the fundraiser.
